I work at the intersection of words, technology, and social change from my homebase in Brooklyn, New York.
Despite what it says on my business card, I'm really an expert information detangler. Imagine a big wad of facts, analysis, and other intangibles. I can take that complex information, analyze it quickly, and explain it to others in a clear and compelling way.
In fact, my primary pleasure is figuring things out and I'm most engaged when I'm at the edge of my expertise, taking pure possibility and turning it into programs that create social change.
I'm passionate about using technology to help social change makers connect with organizations and with each other. I take a grassroots, user-centered approach to my work because I've seen the power of activated and engaged leaders and what they can accomplish.
No matter what I'm working on, I pride myself on my excellence in execution. I have high standards, but I don't let perfect be the enemy of great and I can operate at the level of vision, strategy, and details.
I'm currently the Co-Executive Director of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (aka YNPN) and the Co-Founder of Ripple, an app to connect people seeking and offering help after a crisis. For more about my current and past work, check out my LinkedIn profile.
